Doranne qualified from Glasgow University Vet School in 1997 and has worked in a variety of small animal and mixed veterinary practices throughout her career.

Following a period of time working in England, Doranne moved home to her roots and after a long search for the perfect practice, is now fulfilling her dream to own her own veterinary practice and provide the local people of the west end of Glasgow and their pets with a gold standard service.

John grew up in Charleston, South Carolina and knew from the age of 10 that he wanted to be a veterinarian. He completed his undergraduate degree at Clemson University before moving to Scotland in 2018 to start his veterinary medicine studies at the University of Glasgow.

John grew up with multiple pets, including his basset hound/pug mix Bug. In his spare time he enjoys golfing when the weather permits. He is looking forward to meeting and getting to know all our wonderful clients.

Robyn joined us in June 2015 shortly after completing her degree in Veterinary Nursing at the Napier University in Edinburgh. She grew up spending time between England and Scotland, and is now happy to be settled north of the border!

She has a special interest in exotics, lifelong healthcare for cats and dogs and loves to talk about her family dog ‘Honey’ the Boxer/Staffordshire Terrier cross.

Robyn really enjoys meeting the patients and their owners in her nurse clinics and is looking
forward to getting to know them all really well.

Lauren joined the team back in 2016 as an Animal Care Assistant.
She is now a permanent member of staff and glad to be joining us.
Lauren achieved her qualification back in 2014 whilst working at the Glasgow Vet School.

She has a keen interest and passion for Reptiles and Small Furries and works weekends caring for all the reptiles and small furries at the University of Glasgow teaching unit.

Lauren in her spare time enjoys spending time with her two spaniels Oliver and Sophie and her numerous cats.

Holly began working with us in November of 2023, and is incredibly excited to be learning all things veterinary medicine within such a wonderful and supportive team. You may recognise her from reception, being a regular supplier of treats and fuss!

With over a decade experience of customer service under her belt, she is passionate about building strong client relationships and delivering a personalised service – as she believes excellent customer service always starts with a human touch. Holly is also an avid horse lover, which drives her keen interest in equine care. With the aspiration of studying veterinary nursing in the near future, Holly is most excited for in-patient and theatre nursing, as well as running her own nurse clinics – as she does love a blether!

When she’s not at work, her favourite pastime is taking her two dogs, Otis and Wesley, for long walks exploring the countryside.
